FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution and CBS Boston’s WBZ-TV and myTV38 (WSBK-TV) today announced that the Revs’ April 5 match at D.C. United will be broadcast live on myTV38.

Because of a conflict with a Boston Celtics game at the same time on Comcast SportsNet New England — the Revs broadcast partner -- the parties looked find an alternate solution that would allow as many fans as possible to still see the game live.

“We’re very pleased that everyone was able to come together and find a solution for our fans for this match,” Revolution president Brian Bilello said. “Comcast SportsNet has always been proactive in working with distributors to create overflow channels when conflicts with the Celtics arose. We appreciate Comcast SportsNet for being supportive and understanding of the issue, and for TV38 for working with us to find a live home for the April 5 match.”

The game will also be aired in its entirety on Comcast SportsNet later in the night at 11 p.m. ET.

myTV38 was the team’s previous broadcast home from 2007 through 2009, before the Revolution moved to Comcast SportsNet.
