FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution will once again host its annual three-stop Turf Tour at regional sports centers ahead of its 2014 home opener on Saturday, March 22. Each event will include a soccer clinic, appearance from Revolution mascot Slyde and raffles to win special Revs prizes.

Beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 18, with a stop at the Bridgewater Sports Complex, the tour will continue with dates at New Bedford’s Champions Sports Center on Friday, Feb. 21, and the Kroc Center in Dorchester on Tuesday, March 11.

Each Turf Tour stop will include a soccer clinic – held for a pre-selected group of local children – which will be run by Revolution Academy coaches. Following the clinic, Revolution mascot Slyde will meet with fans, pose for photos and sign autographs for those in attendance.

The final stop, at the Kroc Center, which will be held after the conclusion of the Revolution’s preseason travel schedule, will also include a player appearance. The clinic portion – run by Revolution Academy coaches – will feature Revs players as celebrity coaches, and will be followed by a Q&A and autograph session.
