As the program begins, attendees will watch the Revolution Academy’s Under-16 and Under-18 teams train from field level. During the session, Heaps and his staff will offer their thoughts and feedback about the theories and principles of the drills and training organization, as well as insight into the Revolution first-team sessions.

After the youth teams’ session concludes, the event will move into the Putnam Club, where Revolution director of youth development Bryan Scales and Revolution Academy director Deven Apajee will break down the youth teams’ training session that just wrapped up and answer questions from attendees.

Finally, Heaps and his staff – including assistant coach Jay Miller, goalkeepers coach Remi Roy and strength and conditioning coach Nick Downing – will give the participants an inside look into the work of an MLS coaching staff and its day-to-day and season-long responsibilities.

A question and answer period will then close the evening.

The event has a heavy focus on coaching principles, and is not recommended for children.
