Kalifa Cisse
wanted a new challenge after his time with Bristol City ended in 2012. While he could have continued his career in Europe, he saw joining MLS as a great opportunity. He believes he can be a leader for the Revolution and so does head coach
Jay Heaps.
Heading into the 2013 season, the Revolution used the MLS SuperDraft, Homegrown player rule, a transfer loan and free agent signing to bolster the roster. Head coach

is optimistic about all of these additions and is ready to hit the ground running during preseason.
