Revs launch partnership with NuRide

NuRide DL

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Boston-area residents who are concerned with preserving the environment and reducing their carbon footprint have a new way to earn rewards for their conscientiousness.

The New England Revolution and NuRide have partnered to offer Revolution-related rewards to NuRide participants. Through NuRide, commuters can learn how reducing "drive alone" car rides can help them save money and earn points that can be redeemed for rewards from local, regional, and national restaurants, retailers and events.

For more information on NuRide or to sign up for free, visit www.nuride.com or www.commute.com/nuride

One of the rewards NuRide participants can earn after just one week of taking greener trips is a $10 discount on a Category 2 ticket to a Revolution match.

NuRide is the nation’s largest rewards program for individuals who take greener trips -- walking, biking, carpooling, vanpooling, public transportation, or even telecommuting. NuRide is a free service and is supported by sponsors who provide special offers to NuRide members for taking greener trips and reducing global warming, traffic congestion and energy consumption.

NuRide participants earn multiple benefits to joining the program:

  • save money on transportation costs
  • travel together in a carpool or vanpool
  • cut greenhouse gas emissions
  • trim carbon footprint
  • reduce traffic congestion in the community or the worksite
  • get rewards for tracking a green trip
