KANSAS CITY – With the third overall selection in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft, the New England Revolution will enter the Kansas City Convention Center tomorrow with the club’s highest draft pick since 2002. That year, the Revs selected eventual club career scoring leader Taylor Twellman with the second overall selection.
The Revs also hold the 22nd overall selection – the third pick in the second round – in tomorrow’s draft.
ESPN2 will televise the MLS SuperDraft live at 12 p.m. ET, as the 19-pick first round will be carried in its entirety. The entire two-round, 38-pick draft will be streamed live on mlssoccer.com.
The Revolution’s web site – revolutionsoccer.net – will have full coverage of the team’s selections, including exclusive interviews, recaps and reports from the draft floor.
