FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution will unveil its brand new 2012-13 home jersey at a special jersey launch event at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Gillette Stadium ProShop.

The 2012-13 authentic jersey will be available for pre-order starting on “Blue Friday” – Nov. 25 – at revolutionsoccer.net. Pre-orders and all authentic jerseys purchased through Monday, Dec. 5, will be eligible for free jersey personalization, usually a $20 fee.

While fans will need to wait until Dec. 3 to see the full jersey, fans who “Like” the Revolution’s Facebook page (facebook.com/NERevolution) will get a series of sneak peeks of the jersey starting on “Blue Friday,” Nov. 25. The team will release swatches of the jersey each day until Saturday, Dec. 3 when the full image is unveiled at 5 p.m. at the ProShop and online.

Additionally, the Revolution will donate a portion of the proceeds from all sales of the jersey between Friday, Nov. 25, and Monday, Dec. 5, to the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (uhccf.org), a nonprofit public charity that provides medical grants to children in need.

Several Revolution players will be on hand at the unveiling on Dec. 3 to preview the jerseys, meet fans and take pictures with new jersey purchasers. Fans attending will also receive a 20 percent discount on all other Revolution merchandise purchased in the ProShop that evening.

MLS teams now change jerseys and uniforms in two-year intervals. The Revolution last changed jerseys at the start of the 2010 season and the team wore those kits for the last two seasons. The jersey released on Dec. 3 will be the team’s 12th new home jersey since the league launched in 1996.
