Injury Report - August 10, 2010

The Revolution athletic training staff released the early-week injury report following the team’s Tuesday morning training session. With a full week of training ahead for the first time since early July, the Revs will look to incorporate increasingly healthy players into the fold ahead of Saturday’s Houston match.

The injury report for Tuesday, Aug. 10 is:

PROBABLE: Jason Griffiths (L hamstring strain)

QUESTIONABLE: Kevin Alston (L hamstring strain), Zak Boggs (concussion), Nico Colaluca (R ankle sprain), Marko Perovic (L gastroc strain)

OUT: Preston Burpo (R leg fracture), Kheli Dube (R MCL sprain), Edgaras Jankauskas (L adductor strain), Taylor Twellman (concussion)

Jason Griffiths has been upgraded from QUESTIONABLE last Friday to PROBABLE today. The first-year midfielder was a full participant in training this morning, and appears to be on pace to be available for selection on Saturday barring any set-backs.

Kevin Alston and Marko Perovi? were also both upgraded from OUT to QUESTIONABLE today. While both players were out at training, they worked off to the side for the duration of training with the medical staff.

Zak Boggs, also QUESTIONABLE - also fully participated today and will be looking to regain his match fitness after missing more than a full month because of his concussion.

Nico Colaluca continues to be listed as QUESTIONABLE and is working on his rehab and fitness with the medical staff, while the OUT list remains unchanged with no status updates since last week.
