Revs players to go behind the bar

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution defender Darrius Barnes and midfielder Chris Tierney will step behind the bar at McGreevy’s and will serve drinks for charity on Wednesday, June 23 at 5:30 p.m., immediately following Germany-Ghana and Australia-Serbia World Cup matches that afternoon. 

A portion of all sales generated during the players’ visit will benefit the Claddagh Fund, the non-profit organization founded by McGreevy’s co-owner and Dropkick Murphys member Ken Casey. The Rev Girls will also be in attendance with give-aways and to oversee a raffle in which all proceeds will also go to the Claddagh Fund.

What: Join fans to watch 2010 FIFA World Cup matches (2:30 p.m.) and then stay for some drinks with your favorite Revolution players. A portion of all sales during the players’ visit, as well as all raffle proceeds, will benefit the Claddagh Fund.
