The New England Revolution have loaned defender Donnie Smith to the Rochester Rhinos (USL). He is scheduled to rejoin the Revolution following the Rhinos’ match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday, April 2.

Smith made six appearances for the Rhinos in 2014 while on loan from the Revolution. He started three matches and appeared in Rochester’s postseason quarterfinal defeat to LA Galaxy II.

The Matthews, North Carolina, native is yet to make an appearance for the Revolution this season.
