Revolution goalkeeper Henrich Ravas called in to Slovakia National Team during March FIFA window

BRATISLAVA (March 15, 2024) – New England Revolution goalkeeper Henrich Ravas will join the Slovakia National Team during the March FIFA international window as the team prepares for the 2024 European Football Championship. Slovakia will face Austria on Saturday, March 23 in Bratislava, before facing Norway in Oslo on Tuesday, March 26.

In his first season with New England, Ravas has started all seven games for New England to begin the 2024 season, posting three clean-sheet wins in the Concacaf Champions Cup through two rounds. Prior to arriving with the Revolution via transfer, the Senica, Slovakia native enjoyed several successful seasons with Widzew Łódź in the Polish Ekstraklasa, where he was the league leader in saves with 59 in the 2023-24 campaign.

Ravas, 26, is seeking his first international cap, though he has been a regular with the Slovakia squad in recent times, serving as the national team’s second goalkeeper for 10 of its 12 UEFA European Championship qualifiers in 2023.

The New England Revolution return home this Sunday, March 17 for a meeting with FC Cincinnati, 2:00 p.m. ET at Gilette Stadium.
