Revs part ways with Gambian midfielder

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution today waived Kenny Mansally.

“We want to wish Kenny all the best as he moves into the next stage of his career,” General Manager Michael Burns said. “Kenny was always a professional in his time with us and we wish him well.”

Mansally, 23, made 89 regular-season appearances for the Revolution, including 47 starts since signing with the club as a then youth international player on Sept. 6, 2007, following the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Canada. The Gambia international scored six goals and added five assists in regular-season action. He also made four postseason starts in his career. He also has 10 caps with The Gambia National Team.
