Brian O’Connell addresses the concerns some had regarding the Revolution’s new head coach, who is now in his sixth week of preseason. In this NE Soccer Today post O’Connell looks at the noticeable changes, stating that with Jay Heaps, “if there’s one thing that won’t be in doubt, it’s that the Revolution will be a markedly improved squad, from top to bottom, from performance to preparation, by the time First Kick arrives. And it’ll be because of Jay Heaps.”
Kevin Koczwara highlights New England Revolution defender A.J. Soares. In this Bleacher Report article, Koczwara says Soares is a “solid defender with loads of confidence on the ball.” According to Koczwara, his is skill could even land him a spot on the 2014 World Cup squad.
