Youth players receive U.S. Soccer attention
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution Under-16 players Diego Fagundez (Leominster, Mass.), David Hepp (Natick, Mass.), Declan McCabe (Weston, Mass.), Peguy Ngatcha (Manchester, N.H.), Christian Sady (North Andover, Mass.) and Mitchell Taintor (Storrs, Conn.) have been selected to attend the U.S. Soccer Training Center that will be held on Wednesday, April 6, at Oakwood Soccer Park in Portland, Conn.
“We’re very proud to have six players selected to participate in this U.S. Soccer Training Center,” Director of Youth Development and Revolution under-16 head coach Bryan Scales said. “These events are great opportunities to be trained and evaluated by U.S. Soccer’s national staff coaches. I know the guys will represent the Revolution with pride and give a great account of themselves.”
The Revolution Under-18s (5-6-2) and Under-16s (5-5-3) travel to New Jersey this weekend, where they will play Players Development Academy in Zarephath on Saturday, April 2, and the New York Red Bulls in Newark on Sunday, April 3. The teams’ regular training schedule includes sessions held Tuesday through Thursday, from 5-7 p.m., on the Gillette Stadium field.
