Revolution midfielder Khano Smith beats David Beckham of the L.A. Galaxy down the left side and sends a perfect pass to forward Taylor Twellman, who beats Galaxy goalkeeper Steve Cronin to the ball, knocking it in for a goal - but paying for it with a hard cross to the face. Twellman would need five stitches to repair the wound below his right eye, but remained in the game.
