Diego Fagundez was one of the bright spots during Saturday night's 2-1 loss to D.C. United, recording an assist on a great ball to Kelyn Rowe that gave the Revs an early lead (watch the goal here).
In this video, MLSSoccer.com profiles Diego's Journey to Excellence, from his early childhood in Uruguay all the way to teenage phenom for the Revolution.
As promised, we're back! Lots to talk about today with the arrival of Juan Toja, this weekend's matchup with D.C. United, and more. Give a listen!

Recently-signed midfielder Juan Toja is in Foxborough and joined his new teammates at training for this first time this morning. We'll have video and more with Toja later this week.
With three games in eight days, things have been pretty hectic here in Revs Digital land, hence no Far Post Podcast. But never fear - we'll be hitting the studio on Monday to recap the Revs' three-game homestand and more. We've been keeping up with our predictions and with a few own goals and controversial calls over these last three matches, you can bet that segment will go nice and smooth with no name-calling or yelling whatsoever.
I'll leave this for you all to discuss over the weekend, as this play had a big effect on my own prediction (I said 3-0 Revs) as well as Cathal's (who has had "Big Creepy Steve" scoring since, oh, May): was Stephen McCarthy on or off?
On this day in 1982, Revolution midfielder Clyde Simms was born in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Clyde shares his birthday with such notable names as Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt, "The Gambler" Kenny Rogers, actress Hayden Panettiere, NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain, and actresses Kim Cattrall and Carrie Ann Moss.
Do you share a birthday with Clyde Simms? If so, happy birthday to you too!

If you haven't heard by now, Gillette Stadium will host its first-ever boxing match on Sunday, August 12 immediately following the Revolution vs. Montreal Impact match (7 p.m. kickoff). Ahead of this soccer-boxing doubleheader a week from this Sunday, the star of the show, Danny O'Connor, stopped by Revolution training today with manager Ken Casey (also of The Dropkick Murphys) and boxing legend Micky Ward ("The Fighter") to chat with the Revs and scope out the stadium. Here are some photos and video from today's visit.
