As you probably know by now, Matt Reis and Darrius Barnes both went home with stitches after Saturday's 0-0 draw against Sporting KC. Barnes had six stitches after colliding heads with Sporting KC's Kei Kamara, and Reis had double that amount after catching an elbow to the head, also from Kei Kamara, in what was possibly the longest stoppage-time period I've ever experienced in regular-season play.
Just how bad was Matt's injury? Here's a few photos of Matt's experience, with a VERY detailed photo of the gash above his right eye before his stitches were administered. If you have a weak stomach or can't stand the sight of blood, you will want to pass on this one. But since we had these, we figured we'd share.

10 Revs players visited Boston Children's Hospital on May 22, 2012. Kevin Alston, Darrius Barnes, Zak Boggs, Blake Brettschneider, Kelyn Rowe, Stephen McCarthy, Tim Murray, Tyler Polak, Mike Roach and Bobby Shuttleworth. After a stop in group work rooms to paint planters, they made visits to several rooms throughout various wards in the hospital.
Check out photos and some tweets from the players summing up their afternoons.

With the Revs off this weekend, we were contemplating after the podcast on Wednesday where or how some of the guys might spend their weekend. So being the characters that we are, the first idea that came to mind was "Weekend at Bernie's." Don't ask why, it just did.
Have your own far-fetched ideas as to where some of the Revs would spend their weekend? We've seen some pretty nice Photoshop work amongst our fans, so if you're reading this and want to contribute, tweet your 'shops at us (@NERevolution) and we'll post them here on Monday.
Have a good weekend, everyone! And if you want to keep up with all the other MLS action over the weekend, here's where you can watch.
