Members of the Revolution and Patriots helped build a playground at Prospect Hill Terrace in Waltham, Mass. on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Over 200 volunteers worked with KaBOOM! and UnitedHealthcare to make the playground build possible. All in all It was a great afternoon for an even greater cause! Check out some photos below, and we'll have a video recap of the day's events on Wednesday.
Kelyn Rowe contiuned his hot streak on Saturday night, scoring another sensational goal from distance against the Chicago Fire. Check out his photos below, and be sure to follow us on Instagram!
Brazil held a full team training session this afternoon at Gillette Stadium ahead of their huge friendly with rival Portugal on Tuesday night. Check out some photos from today's training session.
While Toronto FC seems to think they were robbed of three points on Friday night, the Revolution could have some legitimate gripes as well (guess it's only fitting the match ended in a draw). Check out two missed calls that Brad Feldman and Jeff Causey think could have sent the Revs home with three points if called the other way.
By now you may have seen the new Dunkin' Donuts TV commercial featuring Kelyn Rowe, Andrew Farrell, Bobby Shuttleworth and a host of Revolution staff and fans. Andrew Farrell, Matt Reis, A.J. Soares and Bobby Shuttleworth stepped behind the bar at Clery's in Boston on Thursday, August 22, with all tips going directly to the One Fund. All in all it was a great night - thanks to everyone who came out!
Note: Jeff Lemieux did finish his "Farrell's Cape Codder" and was merely having some fun at the expense of Andrew Farrell.
It was a hot one at today's training session, the Revs' first full session since Saturday's win over Chicago. Check out some scenes from today's session below.
On Monday, August 19, Matt Reis held his third annual charity golf challenge at Butternut Farm Golf Club in Stow, Mass. All funds raised benefited Matt's father-in-law, John Odom, who was seriously injured in the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15. John was in attendance at the event, and was even able to take the ceremonial first swing to start off the day. Check out photos and a video recap below.
The Revolution held its second-annual media game on Wednesday, May 22 on the Gillette Stadium field. Members of the local media participated in several small-sided matches against each other, with Revolution players serving as coaches, and Revolution coaches serving as referees. As you can imagine, head coach, er, referee Jay Heaps was pretty heavy-handed with the cards. Rumor has it Jeff Lemieux was red carded for missing an open net!
All in all it was a great time for everyone. Here are some photos from the event, with video to follow soon.
