New England Revolution
As we discussed on this week's Far Post Podcast, Revolution analyst Tim Crawford had a fun idea earlier this week (presumably at lunch or between algorithms) - a heat map of Jay Heaps' movements throughout the course of a match. Behold, the "Heaps map:"

The MLS 24 Under 24 list has been fully revealed over at MLSSoccer.com. Despite having three(!) players in the top 10 (Andrew Farrell #9, Juan Agudelo #6, Diego Fagundez #5), Revs fans do have a legitimate gripe when it comes to second-year midfielder Kelyn Rowe - who did not make the list at all - let alone finish in the top 10. Jeff Lemieux (as always) puts things into perspective:

I think we can all agree that list or no list, this team's future is very, very bright.
MLSSoccer.com's "Armchair Analyst" Matt Doyle also thinks Rowe should have made the list:
Why he’s on my list: Same reason he’d be on everyone’s list if the votes were tallied now: he’s arguably been the league’s second-best attacking midfielder since the end of July. Once Jay Heaps moved Rowe central, he became a force.
So congrats to Andrew, Diego and Juan for making the list and just think - Kelyn Rowe has two more years of eligibility for this list. He'll be there next year.

On this week's State of the Revs, Abby Chin has her weekly chat with head coach Jay Heaps, plus a sit down with Revolution President Brian Bilello. Plus, Brad Feldman and Jeff Causey recap the Revs' controversial 3-2 loss to the Chicago Fire last Saturday.
"Since August 17, the second-year midfielder has scored five goals and added one assist, and has recorded at least one point in each game … the five-game point streak is tied for fourth longest in MLS this season … on the season, Rowe has seven goals and seven assists in 27 appearances."
Congrats, Kelyn, on being named to the MLS Team of the Week for week 29!
Members of the Revolution and Patriots helped build a playground at Prospect Hill Terrace in Waltham, Mass. on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Over 200 volunteers worked with KaBOOM! and UnitedHealthcare to make the playground build possible. All in all It was a great afternoon for an even greater cause!
