MLS Regular Season
We had a little fun with Sporting KC's Soony Saad, after an interesting/confusing tweet appeared in his feed. Did he really think he was in New York? Was he just trolling the whole internet? We may never know.
Dan Haiek and Armchair Analyst Matt Doyle preview the Saturday night Eastern Conference battle between the New England Revolution and Sporting KC. Does the New England attack have any chance against Sporting's stingy defense? Will Dom Dwyer stay hot?
The guys call this one a "bad matchup" for the Revs. Agree? Disagree?
Dan Haiek and Armchair Analyst Matt Doyle preview the Saturday afternoon match between the Chicago Fire and the New England Revolution. Can the Fire neutralize Lee Nguyen and Daigo Kobayashi? If you felt a sudden sense of déjà vu when Kevin Alston scored his very first MLS goal this past Saturday against Houston, it is with good reason. Head coach Jay Heaps revealed in an interview this week that he had shown the team video of a play in the March 30, 2013 matchup against FC Dallas at Gillette Stadium that very closely resembles Alston's goal (same shot angle, same spot and almost to the minute) in which Alston scored this past Saturday.
Check out the GIFs below. Second time's a charm!
Revolution vs. FC Dallas - March 30, 2013 (68th minute)
Revolution vs. Houston Dynamo - April 12, 2014 (68th minute)

The Revolution home opener is just 12 days away! Just as we've done in previous years, we’re taking it to you to choose the 2014 Revolution goal song.
We have a few songs in mind, along with the 2013 goal song (“The Boys Are Back”) and will be launching a poll with 8-10 songs to let fans vote beginning this Wednesday, March 12.
Before we get the poll going, we'd like to allow a few days to suggest songs you'd like to hear as the 2014 goal song.
Post your suggestions in the comments, and if possible, post a link (youtube, spotify, etc.) so everyone can listen.
This week on CSNNE's "State of the Revs," host Abby Chin talks with Jay Heaps and Andy Dorman, while Brad Feldman profiles on of last week's goal-scorers, defender A.J. Soares.
