If you felt a sudden sense of déjà vu when Kevin Alston scored his very first MLS goal this past Saturday against Houston, it is with good reason. Head coach Jay Heaps revealed in an interview this week that he had shown the team video of a play in the March 30, 2013 matchup against FC Dallas at Gillette Stadium that very closely resembles Alston's goal (same shot angle, same spot and almost to the minute) in which Alston scored this past Saturday.

One year ago today, the lives of everyone in the Boston area were changed forever with the events of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. Today we take a moment to remember the victims, support the survivors and thank the first responders who helped so many.

As you know, Gillette Stadium is currently in the process of having the FieldTurf replaced with the most Revolutionary FieldTurf. When the Revolution take the field against Houston on April 12, not only will there be brand new FieldTurf, but there will also be box goals. We got a sneak peek at the footings being drilled yesterday on Twitter:

With these box goals, there are three support poles in the back of each one (six total). They're just plain old metal poles, nothing too exciting. So, we want to jazz them up a bit.
