The Revolution had a special guest at todays' training session, as Framingham-born boxer Danny O'Connor was on hand to watch training and meet the guys. Danny is a huge Revs fan and will be the honorary captain at Saturday's match against the Chicago Fire. Jeff Lemieux chatted with Danny afterward, check out the interview and some photos from Danny's visit below.
On this day in 1978, Revolution Captain Shalrie Joseph was born in Saint George, Grenada, complete with a full head of braided hair. Okay so that last part isn't true, but today is definitely Shalrie's 34th birthday.

10 Revs players visited Boston Children's Hospital on May 22, 2012. Kevin Alston, Darrius Barnes, Zak Boggs, Blake Brettschneider, Kelyn Rowe, Stephen McCarthy, Tim Murray, Tyler Polak, Mike Roach and Bobby Shuttleworth. After a stop in group work rooms to paint planters, they made visits to several rooms throughout various wards in the hospital.
