New England Revolution Academy Highlights: October 18, 2023

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (October 18, 2023) All five Revolution Academy teams were back on the pitch last weekend taking on Beachside SC and FC Westchester, earning a 4-1-2 record across seven matches.

Cristiano Oliveira (2008 – Somerville, Mass.) recorded his first hat trick of the season on Saturday in the U-17’s 5-0 win over Beachside. Damario McIntosh (2007 – Newark, Calif.) and Eli Ackerman (2008 – Natick, Mass.) also found the scoresheet while Owen Beninga (2007 – Jackson, W.Y.) and Julian Chapman (2008 – Maplewood, N.J.) split time in net for the clean sheet.

The U-15s earned a 1-1 draw with Beachside as Judah Siqueira (2009 – South Easton, Mass.) tallied New England’s goal in the 53rd minute. Enzo Goncalves (2006 – Hyannis, Mass.) earned the assist on Bryce Flower’s (2005 – Sharon, Mass.) goal in the U-19s’ 3-1 loss to Beachside on Saturday.

The U-14s went 1-0-1 over the weekend as Lucas Pereira (2010 – East Merrimack, N.H.) notched a brace in his team’s 2-2 draw with Beachside. Kaisei Korytoski (2009 – Meriden, Conn.) tallied a hat trick on Sunday in the U-14s’ 7-1 win over FC Westchester. Pereira, Jude Chisholm (2010 – Cambridge, Mass.) and David Sellars (2010 – Holbrook, Mass.) also scored in the match while Mason Yang earned back-to-back starts in net over the weekend.

Eight players found the back of the net for the U-13s last weekend with the squad earning a 5-0 win over Beachside and a 9-0 victory over FC Westchester. Arthur Bernardino (2011 – Shirley, Mass.) tallied four times on Sunday while Charles Wallace (2010 – Burlington, V.T.) collected two more clean sheets on the season.
